The Opera of the South Bohemian Theatre once again presents the iconic work of Czech opera in the unique backdrop of the farmsteads of Holašovice. The typical South Bohemian village has preserved its architectural form of the so-called peasant baroque from the 19th century, and is thus a completely authentic setting for the adventurous courtship of Mařenka and Jeník, and at the same time promises a truly unforgettable audience experience. The costume design with original Blatt costumes, which were made specifically for this production, is also extraordinary, since the village is part of the significant cultural and historical area of ​​the South Bohemian Blatt.
